Mark Giannini of Memphis is a successful
businessman who founded Service Assurance/Outsource IT in 1989. He is also the
former owner of Omnicom, a computer leasing company he sold before establishing
Service Assurance.
As a leading figure in the Memphis business
community, Mark Giannini of Memphis was a 1996 recipient of the "Top 40
Under 40" award from the Memphis Business Journal, a prestigious prize
that recognized the business achievements of the city's younger generation of
entrepreneurs. He was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the same publication in
1997. That same year, Entrepreneur Magazine named him one of the top five
hundred entrepreneurs in the United States.
Mark Giannini of
Memphis has never been one to keep his great
success to himself. He is a supporter of many causes that benefit his
community. One of those closest to his heart is the Visible Music College, to
which he donated $25,000. The Visible Music College is a Music and Worth Arts
College in Memphis that trains musicians and technicians in the music industry
and the church. "The lobby is dedicated to my mother, Jeanne Monaghan
Giannini," says Mark Giannini of Memphis with pride.
He supports many other worthy causes in his
community as well, from cultural programs to educational programs. He is the
largest fundraiser for, and is the creator of, Art on Fire for the Dixon
Gallery and Gardens. He has supported the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and
has been a longtime Technology Sponsor for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure,
lending his support to the breast cancer fundraiser from 2001 to the present.
And Mark Giannini of Memphis does more than just provide money and technology.
"I have given literally tens of thousands of hours to the local
community," he says.
